Repeat Home Buyer Tax Credit $6500
Repeat home buyer’s who have owned their primary residence for 5 out of the previous 8 years can get up to a $6500.00 tax credit. Your current primary residence does not need to be sold in order to get the repeat buyer tax credit, but the new home you buy must be used as your primary residence. You must be under contract by April 30,2010 and close by July 1, 2010 in order to take advantage of the repeat buyer tax credit.
